In Response To: Missouri river crossing (Jeff Metcalf)

One of the primary crossings was at what is today the site of the "Mormon Bridge" in north Omaha. That site was used from about 1846-1870 by settlers crossing the river. Another crossing was south of Council Bluffs at about Nebraska City.
