Hi again--
I got curious about where Hannah was in 1900, since she was with her family in 1885 and again in 1905, but not in 1900. Did she marry? Was she widowed by 1905? Apparently not--I found her on the 1900 C. living at Granville, (Sioux), Iowa (not too far north and east of LeMars). She was a teacher in the public school. The occupation of the head of household, Henry C. Giese, is "Hotel Keeper". There are 2 other lodgers and a servant listed in the household (along with Henry's mother-in-law)...possibly someone with a large home (though he's listed as renting rather than owning).
Her info--Burke, Hanna L, , 24; b. Dec 1875 in WI; father born in IRE; mother born in PA; teacher-public school
Anyway, it's another piece to the family puzzle!
