Michael Goss, I just read your message about Marietta Axtell, one of the early Orphan Train Riders to Lawler, Iowa. I love the "search" and have started searching this morning about her. Wow, please share what you can clarify. I look forward to any information about Marietta that helps understand "her story." Thank You -- I will respond quickly, I promise. I have done years of research regarding my own mother's biological birth mother and father. Mom was surrendered at 3 weeks old and never knew anything beyond the city where she was born!
