Funeral services for Teresa Anna Halverson, 77, who died Wednesday, June 11, 1986, in Rochester, Minn., were held Saturday, June 14, at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Thomas Hughes officiating.
Mrs. Halverson was born at Marytown, Wisc., October 15, 1909, the daughter of Simon and Veronica Vogds. She attended schools at St. Cloud and Marytown, Wisc. and was confirmed and baptized.
She was employed at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar for many years, was a member of the First Lutheran church and Martha circle.
She is survived by one son, Vernon Durbin of Osage, by a previous marriage; a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Eiring of St. Cloud, Wisc. and Mrs. Eleanor Sippel of Marytown, Wisc.
Mrs. Halverson was preceded in death by her husband, Al; three brothers; four sisters and her parents.
Burial was at First Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 14, 1986, for Teresa A. Halverson, 76, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, at First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. Rev. T. Hughes officiated, and burial was in the First Lutheran Church Cemetery. She died on Wednesday, June 11, 1986 at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital.
She was born on October 15, 1909 at Marytown, Wisconsin, the daughter of Simon and Veronica Vogds. She attended schools at Marytown and St. Cloud, Wisconsin. She had been employed at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; three brothers; four sisters; and her parents.
Survivors include one son, Vernon Durbin of Osage; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Eiring of St. Cloud, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Eleanor Sippel of Marytown, Wisconsin; and three grandchildren.
