Dear Angie,
I saw you asking about Dirk den Otter and his wife. My husband does research on emigrants who left the Alblasserwaard (that is the region we live in) in Holland to the USA in the period 1835 - 1920. He told me your ancestors came from Hoogblokland. That is a little village near Gorinchem, province of South-Holland, Netherlands.
