Jacob and Karl (Charles) Frank

I'm looking for information on Jacob Frank (b. @1830 in Germany) and his brother Johannes Karl (Charles) Frank (b. 1832 in Germany) who settled in Keokuk @ 1855. Both were blacksmiths and wagon makers.

In 1860 Jacob Frank and wife Catharine ran a boarding house on Main Street in Keokuk, IA. Charles and wife Margaret had a 1 year old daughter, Barbara. Jacob and Charles' parents Charles and Barbara were living in Keokuk, in the duplex home with Charles and Margaret.

In 1865 Charles' wife Margaret died and is buried in Oakland cemetery(?), and in 1866 he married Lucinda Holdefer. In 1870 Jacob is not living with his wife and children. The parents are still living in Keokuk, now in the same house but next to Jacob's family, and not Charles and Lucinda.

Any help with information on these families is appreciated.
