Town of Charleston

KENDALL, SANDALL

I am looking for the Town of Charleston that is said to have been just out side of Keokuk IA, has anyone ever heard of it? I didn't find it on the list of old towns in the county.Fred Kendall who changed his name to Sandall, he ran off with his sister in law!!
