Fred Kendall was the son of Charles and Mary Tousley Kendall. He was the brother of my great-grandmother- Amantha (Mattie) Kendall Haskins. Mary Tousley Kendall died July 4, 1900 as stated in the Fort Madison Democrat. Fred was listed as her son in the Obituary listing in the Fort Madison Demoncrat. The Kendalls did not live in Charleston at the time of 1879. They lived in Wisconsin
