My paternal grandmother was Katherine Cavanaugh. Nellie Van Allen and Honora Bernadine (Aunt Beanie) were my great aunts. They had a brother too, Patrick, who I never met. Patrick Cavanaugh and Sarah O'Brian are my great grandparents. Katherine was always called Pat. She was always Grandma Pat to me. I was told she was called that because people thought she looked like her dad when she was born. She married Raymond Cook. They had one son, my Dad, Donald Cook. I would be interested in hearing more about the Cavanaughs.
