John Schiltz

SCHILTZ, WENDLING, BAKER, BESSER

Trying to find any kind of records on John Schiltz who was probably the father of Nicholas Schiltz, a doctor who lived & died in Des Moines, Polk County. John supposedly came to Keokuk County from Johnson County and built the Blackhawk or Black Hawk Mill. His first wife was possibly Josephine Wendling and after her death, he apparently married Anna Marie Baker. After John died, Anna Marie married a Nicholas Beer. Would like to find the burial place for John Schiltz and any kind of records that would link him to my wife's family, the Clifford & Jane Schiltz family of Des Moines.
