Monticello Express: Aug 2, 1956, p5: MRS HENRY KRAY, 83, died at home of daughter, Mrs George Schoon on July 30, 1956; buried Oakwood cem; born Jan 5, 1873 at Ostfriedland, Germany, d/o Wuebbe & Feka Husman Steenblock; age 18 to America; married Henry G Kray on Dec 21, 1892 at Wayne Zion church, he died 1931; son John Kray & Dau Mrs Henry (Frieda) Ortgies also deceased; surviving: Mrs John (Margaret) Brokens & Henry Kray of Anamosa; Mrs Geo (Alvina) Dirks of Amber; Mrs Geo (Matilda) Schoon of Monti; a bro lives in Germany;
Pallbearers were grandsons: Benhard Brokens; Alvin Ortgies; Donald Kray; Albert Kray; Marion Dirks; LaVern Schoon.
