I do have access to Ancestry and had read some of these articles but not made the connections to the family who lived in our house.

Here's one more article about HH Fairall also found in the Ancestry newspaper collection

October 9, 1900 - Daily Iowa State Press: Upper Iowa Methodist Episcopal Conference met at Osage, Iowa. Among the appointments of interest to Iowa City residents was Rev. H.H. Fairall, Member Iowa City quarterly conference. Rev. D.W. Clinton was appointed pastor of the Iowa City M E Church.
