From what I could locate for you, Anna married Hugh Frazier [H. F.] Walters between 1930 and May 1934. When she died in November 1939, she was Anna Walters and not Cromer. She may have died in Iowa City since many went for medical care at the hospital there.

The sources I looked at for you:

Muscatine Iowa Birth Registrations --

Bertha Elaine Agnes Cromer
birth: 18 August 1927 Muscatine, Muscatine, Iowa
father: William C. Cromer
mother: Anna Benzina Ce Vogt

William Harold Cromer
birth: 22 August 1930, Muscatine, Muscatine, Iowa

Newspaper items --

"Court case dropped:
Anna Cromer Walter versus Mark McKillip, et. al."

Muscatine Journal And News Tribune
November 4, 1938

****
"Harvey Allbee, guardian ad litem for Bertha Elane and William Harold Cromer, has denied all allegations contrary to the interests of his wards in the case of Julius Gerndt versus Anna Walters, et al."

Muscatine Journal And News Tribune
December 20, 1934

***
"Two other new cases were filed. Julius Gerndt brought a foreclosure suit against Anna Walters and others, asking judgment for $769.50."

Muscatine Journal And News Tribune
May 7, 1934

Muscatine County, Iowa Marriage Records:
Lula Mae Greer to Hubert Clifton Rose on August 7, 1926. Lula was the daughter of Milo Greer and Ama Te Vogt.

William M. Cromer to Anna T'Evogt Greer on July 11, 1925 in Muscatine County.

Des Moines County, Iowa Marriage Records:
William Cromer to Anna Te Vogt on October 2, 1905 in Burlington, Des Moines, Iowa

Kenosha, Kenosha County, Wisconsin Marriages:
Milo Greer to Anna Cromer on May 12, 1909

Another researcher had located a marriage of a William Mckanney to Anna Cromer on November 14, 1909 in Muscatine County, Iowa. This is NOT the same Anna as her parents were Hiram Cromer and Lida Gellar and Cromer was her maiden and not her married name.

Her death certificate should be under the name Anna Walters; perhaps an obituary also; she still has a child living who was 12 when Anna died; this may be an additional source; Hope this helps.
