A researcher from Muscatine who works with the genealogy society did the research to try and find an obituary for me. She's the one who told me about the headstones and I think I talked to someone from the cemetery. I've been working on so many of the family members some of it becomes a blur. I did hear from a family member (just this week) on Ancestry who was a descendant of Anna. She didn't know much about her, but understood she died in 1939 and may have re-married and wasn't sure of the last name. She was supposed to have died the same year that, I think was her great grandfather, was born. The family members that are alive, don't seem to know much about her. She thought the new married name began with a W, but wasn't sure. She was born May 1884 in Minnesota according to 1900 census and other census says Minnesota. After Wm C Cromer dies, she seems to disappear. One family tree, NOT sourced as her passing Nov 3, 1939 in Iowa City, Wright, IA, but isn't Iowa City in Scott county? She married Cromer once, divorced and married a Greer, divorced and re-married Cromer. The 1st marriage and one to Greer, I can't find marriage records for, so I suspect she married in IL and probably a 3rd marriage too since she doesn't come up on Ancestry. Wm C died 1930.
I can try to find out who the Sexton is for the cemetery and see if they have any info on who bought the plot. That's a good idea.
