Rachel's last name was Custer. Her father was William Custer and mother was Eliza Cutcheler, according to her death certificate. I believe the Eliza Rice living with them is her mother, who remarried to George Rice, when William died, some time prior to 1840. Rachel was born 27 Dec 1831 and died 15 Nov 1912. Rachel and David are my 2nd great grandparents. If you would like other information, please contact me.
