Thank you for the information. My John does not appear to be the John Beals of Quaker heritage. His wife's name and son John family do not match up with mine. But I will follow the lead on John Boles mentioned in the 1840 census with 9 children. Going thru some records I found evidence of an older son David, who I had no knowledge of before. Again thank you for your time! I appreciate it very much.
