Michael Peebler

I note in records of Michael Peebler (my g.g.g. grandfather) that he was born in 1786 and died in 1868. I find that very interesting and probably impossible.

First, I have been looking for many years to find his birth and death dates. As you might know, the words on his stone in Fell Cemetery only read, his name and "In the name of the father" - no dates.

Second, I know for a fact that Michael Peebler was married to Esther Sears November 22, 1796 in Clark Co., KY. The records or available. This would make him a ten year old boy when he was married. His first child, John Martin Peebler, was born in 1797 meaning he would have to be less than eleven years old when conception took place.

In addition, I have Esther Sears birth date as 1781. I am not positive of this date, but I am quite sure it is correct. If the date is true than she was married at five and gave birth at six!
