Verda did some great work for me last year on
my Wiggins family. She found the burial records
my Wiggins who are in the Old Fairfield City
Cemetery. I am interested in finding someone
who would find the stone(s)of my g-g-g grandparents who are buried there. In a 1964
transcription of the cemetery, one stone was
still there, whereas the other had only the
base remaining. I can give additional information to anyone who would be interested
in getting photographs of the one stone. If
anyone knows of someone who does this, please
let me know and advise me of the cost. These
are my only ancestors west of the Ohio River,
and as I am pretty far from Iowa, I am not able
at this time to make the journey myself to find
this elusive stone. Thanks for any help anyone
can offer.
