I am looking for info on the Connor and Shockley families..

Richard Shockley and his wife Susanna (Paxton) moved to Jefferson County,(Pleasant Plain)..they had a daughter Almedia, that married John Connor...John and Almedia continued to live there,until around 1853, when he left for the California gold mines and never returned.
