Ron,

I looked in the Fairfield Library this afternoon and did find that there was a Kennedy family group sheet prepared by Verda Baird for a Lamansky researcher back in Nov. 1995.

No obituary was found for William James Kennedy. Evidently there is one for Bertha, but I didn't look it up.

The main additions to the information that I posted earlier are two clarifications:

Eugene Maurice Kennedy, b. April 25, 1914 and died Dec. 20, 1915. Where buried isn't indicated.

Also, the "Erma A Kennedy" in the OneWorldTree listing is listed in Verda's listing as "Irma Agnes Kennedy", born May 12, 1910. Death date not known.

Beyond that, I don't know that there is much more to be found here in Jefferson county. Try the Rock Island/Moline/Davenport areas for your best shot at finding descendants. Use the IaGenWeb county resources for those searches.
