In Response To: Benjamin Stewart TEMPLETON burial place and date needed. (Sarah)

I wanted to let everyone know that I finally found proof towards Benjamin Stewart Templeton's burial location. I came across a copy I made from the Fairfield Libaray with a tidbit from the Fairfield Tribune about his death. I asked Verda if she could check up on that newspaper article to see if there was any more info. Below is the article she sent me from the newspaper.

Fairfiled Tribune, September 11, 1884, Page 3, col. 5:
The outskirts of Salina have been visited again by the ruthless hand of death, and has taken away the father of Mrs. Jacob Allender, Benjamin Templeton. His age was about 87 years. He was a man that was well known and well respected and loved by all who knew him. His remains were taken to Eddyville, Iowa, and buried. Mr. Templeton has been living with his son-in-law during the past summer, and had enjoyed very good health until within a few weeks before his death. As it was with Father Templeton so will it be with us all, - we know not the day or the hour when death will come.
