Cedar RapidsLois S. ROE, 90, passed away peacefully November 13, 2021, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (note: in Linn Co., IA).
Lois was born April 22, 1931, to John R. and Berniece KELLER in a small farmhouse near Stockport, Iowa. She graduated from Fairfield High School and shortly after married Lawrence ROE. They had 65 years together building memories that included farming side by side in Jefferson/Van Buren County, trips to Mission, Texas, dancing, playing cards, boating with family and friends. She was a lady that welcomed guests with delicious baked goods, particularly her special apple crisps and pies, fresh grown garden produce. She was a kind, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Bev DAVEY of Cedar Rapids; four siblings; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several beloved close relatives.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. November 16, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery. Fairfield. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
