Lois TRABERT PARRETT

Lois TRABERT PARRETT, age 91 of Fairfield died Tuesday evening at the Keosauqua Health Care Center in Keosauqua (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

She departed this earthly world for her soul to continue her eternal journey with our heavenly father and savior Lord Jesus Christ.

The joys of her earthly life were parents that gave love and bible (sic) Christian direction for her life.

She was born February 18, 1925 at Oletha, Kansas, the daughter of Mathias and Lillie May FRAZIER TRABERT.

The family lived in Colorado in her youth and moved back to Lockridge-Germanville community when she was eleven.

Lois graduated from Mount Pleasant High School.

A marriage shared with Kenneth Ross PARRETT from September 20, 1950 together working a farm life near Batavia to April 26, 1974 was a special joy in her life.

She had worked as a bookkeeper at Jefferson Motor Company in Fairfield.

Lois was a member of the Faith Christian Outreach Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters: Ellen HINKLE and Naomi EGLI and 2 brothers Max TRABERT and Mathias TRABERT.

Surviving are her 1 brother Joseph Earl TRABERT of Santa Cruz, California; 2 sisters Ruth DILLS of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Ester Grace SMITH of San Jose, California and many precious nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 31st at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Monte Knudsen officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials may be given to Ottumwa Hospice.

Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield in (sic - is) assisting the family with their arrangements.
