Rollin L. DAVIS, 77, of Eldon, died at 12:14 a.m. today, Monday, November 16, 2015, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Rollin L. DAVIS

Rollin L. DAVIS, 77, of Eldon died at 12:14 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation opened at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, with family present 5-7 p.m.

Memorials to the family can be left at the funeral home or mailed to 18827 Deer Ave., Douds 52551.

Mr. DAVIS was born Oct. 10, 1938, in rural Bloomfield, the son of Varold "Bud" and Alice ARCHER DAVIS. He married Gloria J. WARNER Feb. 14, 1959, in Bonaparte. She died Aug. 4, 2007.

Mr. DAVIS graduated from Troy High School. He and his wife lived in Bonaparte and Eldon.

He farmed, worked at Bonaparte Rendering Works, The Dexter Company in Fairfield and for many years at Cargill in Ottumwa.

Survivors include: one son, William DAVIS of Eldon; two daughters, Ronda LEWMAN with Jeff Parrish of Douds and Jeanna DAVIS with Todd Mickles of Douds; his mother of Douds; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marion DAVIS of Des Moines.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by: his father,; (sic) one son, Rollin DAVIS Jr.; one daughter, Tanna ROBERTS; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
