Harold E. BAILEY, 75 of Fairfield, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fairfield First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Joe Phipps officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Open visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday until the funeral begins at the church.

Mr. BAILEY was born March 7, 1938, in Fairfield, the son of Clarence and Irene Grace LEE BAILEY. He married Judith Ann SCHOCK June 25, 1961, at the Fairfield First Presbyterian Church. She died Oct. 23, 2012.
Mr. BAILEY lived most of his life in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1956.
He owned Bailey Construction and was a home builder for more than 50 years. He began working with his father while still in high school and eventually took over the business.
Mr. BAILEY served in the Iowa National Guard for six years.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and past member of the Fairfield Elks Lodge and the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.
He loved to play golf, his cats, having coffee with his friends, playing couple's bridge, fishing trips to Canada and spending time with family.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lori RAW and her husband Robert of Coralville; and one brother, Bill BAILEY of Montrose.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter, Kristen.
