William Robert WULFF

William Robert WULFF born October 30, 1931, and passed away on April 6, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bill was born in Des Moines Iowa, the son of F.H. and Dorothy SCHUMANN WULFF.

Bill graduated from Fairfield High School and graduated from the University of Iowa where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

In 1954 he married Gaye MORTON, daughter of Howard L. and Dorothy M. MORTON of Rantoul, Il and they were married 59 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Gaye, their children Richard, Robert (and wife Lacy), John and Susan. In addition, there are nine grandchildren, Brenton WULFF, Brad WULFF, Lisa WULFF, Tristan WULFF, M'Lynn WULFF, Jessica WULFF, William WULFF, Matthew WULFF and Kaitlyn WULFF.

Bill's father Ferd started Wulff Furniture in Fairfield, Iowa in 1946. Bill and Gaye ran the business in Fairfield until they sold the business in 1979 and moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

Bill then started Wulff's Contract Furniture in Phoenix, Arizona. Up until his passing Bill continued going to the office. His son Robert continues to run the business 67 years later.

The family has made arrangements for a private memorial at a later date per the request of Bill.

If desired, memorial gifts are to be made to your favorite charity.

For those who dealt with him in business, you knew his handshake meant he would deliver as promised.

For those who played golf with him, you paid up at the 19th hole.

For those of us he raised and his wife, he was the world's best father and husband.
