Evelyn L. NELSON, 91, of Fairfield died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Stacy Grau officiating. A private family interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials have been established to Jefferson County Health Center Foundation or First Lutheran Church.

Mrs. NELSON was born March 7, 1921, in Fairfield, the daughter of William M. and Alta M. HESTON TURNER. She married Robert Hess NELSON May 29, 1949, in Nauvoo, Ill. He died July 18, 2005.
She lived most of her life in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1938.
She had worked as an assistant cashier at First National Bank.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Survivors include one son, Thomas G. NELSON and spouse Kay of Aurora, Colo.; two daughters, Patricia McHUGH and spouse Tom of Springfield, Pa., and Debra L. NELSON of Elizabeth, Colo.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sue GUERRIERO; one grandson; and four brothers, Paul M., Harry L., Glenn E. and James W. TURNER.
