Mary Louise NEIL

Mary Louise NEIL, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Blue Point Cemetery, southwest of Richland.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus. Cards and memorials may be sent to 202 N. Washington St., Richland 52585.

Mrs. NEIL was born March 24, 1935, in Fairfield, the daughter of Andrew and Catherine DENNISON HARPER. She married Wendell Charles NEIL June 15, 1963, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Feb. 6, 2009.

Mrs. NEIL was a certified nursing assistant at Parkview Care Center and Jefferson County ResCare. She also was a home health care aide.

Mrs. NEIL enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and taking care of the elderly.

Survivors include four children: Terry NEIL and wife Charlotte of Birmingham, Kevin COOK and wife Michele of Farmington, Minn., Jon NEIL and wife Tammy of Bloomfield and Cathy LATHROP and husband Bob of Richland; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Barbra COOK, Viola HARPER and John H. HARPER, all of Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Kent COOK.
