James Farley

My great great grand father James Farley was born in county cork Ireland in may of 1827. He arrived in New York in Aug 28th in 1848.- I think he had an unknown 1st wife who bore His first son, John Farley about 1858 in Illinois , then Elizabeth Farley in 1862 in Illinois , james Farley in 1868 in Minnesota.

Then in 1870 he married a Katherine “Kate” Stanton who was born in 1847. He was 53 and Kate would have been 23. She bore him another John Farley in 1870, George Farley 1872, another James Farley 1874, Thomas Jefferson Farley 1877, Anne Farley 1880, all other in Iowa.

Katherine died in 1903 in Queens New York and James in 1905 and he is buried in Naples South Dakota. My lineage is direct from James to Thomas Jefferson to Raphael to jack to me.
