My gt. gt. grandmother was Elizabeth ANDERSON, d/o F. J. Anderson and Catherine SHook who moved from the Pittsburgh area (youngest son b. in Westmoreland Co ca 1846)and were listed on the 1850 Jasper Co. census. They were listed on the same page as the George Anderson to whom you make reference.
Other than an 1840 census entry in Plum Twp. Allegheny Co, PA, I have been unable to find any documentation for Francis and Catherine in PA.
Have you had any luck with George and, if so, do you think these two families might be related in some way?
