looking for any information about george anderson and his wife. they were from pa.they moved to iowa in the 1840,s.on the 1850 census he is listed as a civil engineer. post office altoona iowa. in 1860 he is a sawyer in vandalia Jasper Co.

I believe his wifes maiden name was Bush. Had ten children. Thanks
