OBITUARY
Margaret M. McCarville died at her home near Lourdes, Tuesday, March 5, 1907, after a lingering illness of four years, and passed into everlasting slumber. She was the fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McCarville, and was born and grew to womanhood in Howard County, Iowa. At the time of her death, she was 27 years 1 month and 6 days of age. She was a very patient sufferer and bore her trials bravely, ever hoping to be restored to her health, but she never really recovered from the great loss she sustained about three years ago when her dear brother and sister were laid to rest.
She spent over two years in Colorado Springs for her health and was treated by one of the best physicians there. She returned home about 14 months ago, and all that loving hands could do was done but all in vain. She was a loving daughter and sister, and was beloved by all who knew her. She is survived by her father and mother, three sisters and five brothers, besides many relatives and friends.
After a requiem high mass and a very touching address by Rev. Father Norris, she was laid to rest beside her brother and sister In St. Mary’s Cemetery at Lourdes.
