James Fogarty services held
Funeral services for James Fogarty were held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11 at Immaculate
Conception Church in Cedar Rapids. Interment was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Lourdes.
James, 80, died Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at Mercy Hospital in Ceder Rapids of natural causes.
James Fogarty was born December 9, 1921, the son of John and Mabel Fogarty. He graduated from school in Elma.
On January 19, 1942 he married Bernadette O’Brien at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Lourdes.
He is survived by his wife Bernadette; one son: Edward of Florida; two grandchildren; one sister: Madonna of Maquoketa; and one brother: Ed of Kansas City, KS.
James was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, and one sister.
