ELMA -- Patricia Friedhoff, 51, Elma, died Wednesday, June 14 at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton of adult respiratory distress syndrome.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17 at Immaculate Conception Church in Elma with Rev. Roger R. Rethamel presiding. Dr. Curtis Rainy will provide prelude music and Theresa Burke will be organist for the service, accom-panying the church choir. Placing the pall will be Francis, Ken, Stephanie, Katie and Allison Friedhoff. Jim and Shirley Chihak will be gift bearers.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Lourdes.

Visitation will be from 3- 8 p.m. Friday, June 16 at Conway Funeral Home in Elma, with a 4 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture Service.

Patricia Lee Friedhoff was born Aug. 24, 1948 at Elma, the daughter of Lee Patrick and Marion M. (Chihak) Shannon. She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in Elma and married Francis Friedhoff April 29, 1967 at Immaculate Conception Church. They have since resided in Elma. Patricia had worked for a time for APAC Company in Decorah.

She was a member of Colonial Manor Auxiliary and Board. She was a hospice volunteer and a member of the church choir.

Surviving are her husband, Francis; one son, Kenneth (Stephanie) Friedhoff, Iowa City; two granddaughters; parents, Lee and Marion Shannon, Elma; one brother, Mark (Deb) Shannon, Charles City; three sisters, Kaye (John) Blackwell, Keytesville, MO, Susan (Jerry) Shannon-Haar, Elma, Barbara (Vernon) Whisenhunt, Alta Vista; nieces and nephews.
