ELMA — Verona K. Frank, 90, Elma, died Wednesday, June 7 at Colonial Manor Home in Elma after a short illness.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 9 at the United Methodist Church in Elma with Rev. Catherine Luck presiding. Dr. C. W. Rainy will be organist and accompany those in attendance in song.

Interment will be in Howard Cemetery in Elma with nephews, Roger, Bill, Dick, Larry and Norman Frank and Harold, Chester, Elmer,
Clarence and Frank Mitchell serving as casket bearers.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services. Conway Funeral Home, Elma, is in charge of arrangements.

Verona Katherine Frank was born Sept. 1, 1909 at Elma, the daughter of William G. and Bertha Alice May (Hutton) Frank. She was baptized Aug. 11, 1912. Verona graduated from Elma High school in 1929. She was a lifelong Elma resident, working at various clerk jobs within the city of Elma in her early years. Her last employment was at Peoples Savings Bank in Elma where she worked for 20 years, retiring in 1975. Verona was a member of various women’s club and organizations. She enjoyed working with flowers and yard work. Her church was very important to her as well as being supportive of her family and friends.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Wilma Frank, St. Ansgar; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Euphemie Mitchell and Regina Frank; four brothers, Orville, Alvin, Valden and William Frank.
