ELMA ~ Marion K. Frank, 79, died Saturday, March 18 of natural causes at Colonial Manor Home in Elma.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday,
| March 21 at Immaculate Conception Church in Elma with Kev. Roger R. Rethamel presiding. Theresa Burke was the Organist and accompanied the church choir. Larry and Connie Frank placed the pall and gift bearers were Pat Snider, Sandy Busta and Deb Ratzlaff.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery at Elma with Mike Birmingham, Jerry Mitchell, Jerry Cable, Dick Frank, Roger Frank and Jerry Ptacek serving as casketbearers.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 20 at Conway Funeral Home in Elma where there was a 4:30 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. Parish Scripture Service.

Marion Katherine Frank was born Aug. 7, 1920 in Mitchell County, the daughter of August and Katherine (Bealer) Cable. She grew up in the Riceville and Elma areas.

Marion married Valden "Bus" Frank on June 17, 1941 at Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville. The couple moved to Elma following their marriage where Marion worked as a grocery store clerk and later was custodian for the Elma Public School.

Marion was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and of the Rosary Society. Her hobbies included taking care of her cats, camping, fishing, gardening, quilting and dancing.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Connie) Frank, Cresco; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters-in-law, Verona Frank, Elma and Wilma Frank, St. Ansgar; and a special friend, James Freidhof, Elma.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Valden, in 1981; her parents; two brothers, Art and LeRoy Cable; and three sisters, Grace Schwake, Pauline Cook and Irene Cable in infancy.
