I don't know if this is your Polly Mary Barton, but I am sending it along as I believe that she would have been of the right age to be married to Isaac McKern.
Biography of William R. Barton by Evelyn Hummell
"William Roberts Barton, the son of Mary Roberts and Eli Barton was born in 1800 in Fayette county, Pennsylvania and died in 1845 in Henry Co. Iowa. He moved to Tuscarawas County, Ohio with his parents about 1813. William was a teacher and taught in a rude log cabin in Old Town Valley. In 1828 he married Christiana Beaber, daughter of Christian Beaber. She was born June 1808 in Penn. In 1844 William moved his family to Henry County, Iowa and operated a saw mill at Barton's Ford west of Mt. Pleasant, where his older brother Joseph had arrived earlier. William and Christiana's children were: Benjamin Roberts, 1831-1914; Mary (Polly) 1834; Thomas Henry, 1837-1926; William Henry, 1834-1925. After William's death, Christiana married David Rainy, and they are both buried in Lambirth cemetery."There continues information about the oldest son, Benjamin Barton and his children.
A second Biography of William Roberts Barton by Ellen Cochran French on pp. 118-119, gives a little more information of William and his parents and family.
"William Roberts Barton, son of Eli and Mary (Roberts) Barton, was born in 1800, German Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. When he was thirteen, his parents moved to Tuscarawas County, Ohio. On May 4, 1828, William and Christiana Beaber, daughter of Christian Beaber married in Tuscawaras County. William Roberts Barton became the second person to teach in Old Town Valley. He taught in a rude log cabin built for a schoool on the Shaffer Place.
About 1840, the family left Ohio and removed to Indiana. They lived there only a short time when the family decided to move further west. After living three years in Southern Illinois, the William Barton family emigrated to Iowa where his brothers Joseph and Thomas and sister Mary Barton Hummell were early pioneers to Henry County, Iowa. On the 4th of July 1844, they settled in Center Township, Henry County, Iowa. William Barton erected a sawmill on Big Creek, south of Mt. Pleasant. He operated the mill at Barton's Ford until his death in 1845. Christiana's death occured in 1885. They were probably buried in the Barton (Home Bethel) Cemetery which is located near Barton's Ford.
There were four children born to Christiana and William Barton. Nothing is known of their daughter, Polly."
Their other children listed are Benjamin Roberts Born m. Jane Hunt; Thomas Henry Barton m. Elizabeth Harshbarger; and William Henry Barton m. Florence Stallings. William Henry Barton was born June 16, 1843 in Henry County, Illinois.
This is the only Mary/Polly Barton that I find in the numerous Barton biographies in this book. I do not find any other information on Isaac McKern.
