Thanks for your reply. After I posted the query to you, I did find some info on Epworth Seminary. It was started in 1857. This was after my gggrandparents were married so I doubt that she attended it. Hopefully I will be able to send you the link that I read below. It didn't work so I will tell you that it was on the Dubuque County Gen Web site. Thanks again. Mary Ann
