Hi John -

I believe I have a connection to your Theodore Schroeder. My great great grandmother, Catherine (Schroeder) Schmitt had a brother named Theodore E., born about 1852. I have his wife as Theresa Dausch. According to our family history, he went to Texas and was written out of his father's will and told never to return if he left for Texas. His parents are Peter and Maria Catherine (Takkoff / Reichinger - we have both names, unsure which is correct) Schroeder. He had two sisters, Catherine (b. 1856) and Margaret (b. 1862). His sisters married Schmitt brothers, Michael and Nicholas, respectively. I would love to share information on Theodore's family, as we know nothing of him or descendants.
