I have some info on THOMAS family in Clayton County which might provide a connection. I hope it does.
Nancy J. Thomas, b. Oct 1850 in Iowa and married Aug 1870 in Iowa to David Delewis McGoon who was born 12 Nov 1842 and died 15 Jun 1920.
Sophrona Rose Thomas b. May 1856, d. bef. 1924 and married 30 Aug 1875 either in Monona or Allamakee County to Prelette P. McGoon who was b. 24 Sep 1850 and d. 13 Jun 1924.
Prelette and David were brothers and I have more McGoon information.
Do you suppose Nancy J. and Sophrona R. are sisters and connect to your THOMAS family?
