Henderson Family

HENDERSON, MOORE, VANSICKLE, LEFFERT, LITZ, SHELLER

My 3rd Great Grandfather John Henderson settled in Clayton County, Iowa around 1856. His wife Sarah McGowen, not sure of this last name McGowen. It could be another surname close to this name. They had a family of 10 to 12 children, not sure how many children there actually had. All the information I have is that two of the males settled in Bedford County, Pennsylvania and the rest settled in Clayton County, Iowa. I was in contact with a lady years ago who knew of a man who had known the family. Her name was Davis. I do know that one daughter Phebe, married and settled in Clayton County, Iowa. She had been married twice, William Moore and Martin Vansickle. Not much to go on. Any help would be appreciated.
