Dr. Fred Stoecker Is Taken By Death at Pierre, So. Dak.

Word has been received here of the death in Pierre, South Dakota, of Dr. Fred W. Stoecker, 71, veterinarian and rancher who once practiced veterinary medicine in Guttenberg. Dr. Stoecker was a native of Ceres.

Dr. Stoecker died March 20 at his home in Pierre and services were held at the Faith Lutheran church in Pierre.

Dr. Stoecker is survived by his widow, the former Mrs. Esther Kempter, of Pierre, a brother George of Northwood and a sister, Mrs. Martha Norby of Brandon, South Dakota.
