FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES
_______Albert Stoecker Kills Self at Western City
_______Albert Stoecker, 61, Mason City, Iowa, died Sunday night at a hospital of a gunshot wound, which undersheriff Roy C. Glasier said was self inflicted.
Found with a bullet in his head at a cottage camp Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Stoecker had gone to Colorado Springs, CO, to visit their son, Grover. The body was brought back to Mason City Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Surviving Mr. Stoecker are his wife, three sons, Grover of Colorado Springs; Albert of Ames; and Howard of Massachusetts, L. I.; and two daughters, Mrs. James Brown and Mrs. Fred Groh of Mason City.
Mr. and Mrs. Stoecker were former residents of Guttenberg.
Burial will be made in Guttenberg this Thursday.
