John “Jack” H. Eulberg

John “Jack” Henry Eulberg, 86, of Garnavillo, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Guttenberg Care Center.

Visitation was Monday, April 15, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Garnavillo.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Garnavillo, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Garnavillo.

Jack was born the son of Henry and Elsie (Bittner) Eulberg, March 3, 1927, in Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Jack received his education from St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Garnavillo High School. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II; drove school bus; worked in carpentry and Fuller Brush sales; owned and operated Jack’s Station and was employed at G & G and Tower Living Centers. Jack enjoyed playing cards; woodworking; fishing; telling stories with a joke or two in them and dominos.

On Aug. 16, 1949, he was united in married to Norma Berse at St. Joseph’s Church in Elkader.

He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Eulberg of Guttenberg, Jayne (Marty) Bries of Guttenberg, and Julie (Dave) Moyer of Cedar Falls; two sons, Rick (Mary) Eulberg of Guttenberg and Bob (Joan) Eulberg of Garnavillo; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma; three sisters, Anita Keppler, Sister Jean Marie Eulberg, and Ruth Hoeger and six brothers, Bill, Richard, Frank, Don, Phil and Roy.
