The funeral of Corporal Clinton Michaels, Friday afternoon of last week, was very largely attended; all but one of the rural schools in the vicinity, as well as the public schools of Elkport, were closed. All places of business in both Elkport and Garber were closed from noon until the body was taken to its last resting place in the Hansel cemetery.
