Mrs. John Ulish Passes Away
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 16, 1973, in Monona United Methodist Church for Mrs. John (Flossie) Ulish, who died May 13.
Pastor Raymond Pacholke officiated. Mrs. Ivon J. Schultz was the organist and Mrs. Tom James, the soloist.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Koth, Robert Rowland, Lloyd Pruess, Foster Koth, Victor Kuhse and Dwayne Schroeder.
Burial was in Monona City Cemetery.
Flossie Ulish, daughter of Herman and Helen Henkes Koth, was born June 22, 1888, in Wagner Township and passed away at the Nursing home in Prairie du Chien, Wis., on May 13, 1973, at the age of 84 years and 10 months.
She was united in marriage to John Ulish on September 21, 1910, in Monona Township. They lived all of their life in the Monona area, farming, before they moved to the town of Monona. There were two children born to this union, a daughter, Helen, who died in 1935 and a son, Roy, who still lives on the farm outside of Monona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, her daughter, Helen, two brothers, Roy and Ross, and one sister, Erval Jarms.
She leaves to remember her, her son, Roy, brother, Vern Koth of Monona and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Rowland (Hazel) and Mrs. Alfred Pufahl (Ruth), both of Garnavillo and other relatives and friends.
