Edward J. Schroeder, 64, died Thursday, Jan. 24, at his home, after an extended illness.
Services were held Sunday, Jan. 27, from the Tuecke funeral home to the St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. E. W. Kraemer officiating. Burial was in the Guttenberg city cemetery.
Pallbearers were Delbert Schroeder, Stanley Schroeder, Morris and LaVerle Rodenberg, LaVern and Bernell Kahle.
Edward Schroeder, son of Fred and Anna Tuecke Schroeder, was born Jan. 18, 1888, at Guttenberg.
On March 02, 1916, he was married to Louisa Kahle at Garnavillo. His occupation was farming.
Survivors are his wife and three sons, Delos, of Clayton; Harold and Verdus at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Darlene, one brother, Henry, and one sister, Mary.
