Clayton County Register, 01 Feb. 1945.

Realto O. Schumacher, editor and publisher of the Garnavillo Tribune since 1910, died of a heart attack Monday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Garnavillo.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Everett Klocker, news editor of the Register, and Winifred, Milwaukee, and a sister, Mrs. Edwin Milewsky, Garnavillo.
