ADNEY, RUSSOW, BECKETT, LINDEMANN

MCGREGOR: Funeral services were held for Alvin Adney, who died Tuesday evening after years of illness. The services were conducted by the Rev. E. H. Shuey in the Pilkington funeral parlors with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Mr. Adney was born in 1868 near Bradford, Ill. He moved from there with his parents to Richland Center, Wis., and in 1885 came to McGregor, where he spent most of his life. He married Bertha Russow, who survives him with four children, Ray and Mrs. Alvin Beckett of Portland, Ore., John of Miles, Iowa, and Mrs. Harold Lindemann of Cear Rapids, and four grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.
