Clayton County Register, 18 May 1944.

STRAWBERRY POINT: Mrs. Frances Baldridge, 80, died Friday at University hospital, Iowa City, where she had been the past two weeks.

Frances Olinger, daughter of Engelberg and Lillian Olinger, was born at Cox Creek June 09, 1863. On Feb. 14, 1887, she was married to William Baldridge. He died June 01, 1933.

Survivors are two sons, Wilbur and Elmer, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, John Olinger of Minneapolis and B. W. Olinger of Chamberlain, S.D., four sisters, Mrs. Emma Graham of Dubuque, Mrs. Dick Harkin of Sheldon, Mrs. Julia Clauson of Detroit, and Mrs. Mae Billington of California. A son, Dr. Clarence Baldridge of Iowa City, a daughter, Stella, and a son, Willie, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial was in the local cemetery.
